Helloooooo buns!! Welcome!

I know I haven't posted for a long time now BUT I'm here today with a new dress! The Neon Pumps Project is still on and I have 3 more outfits to come during the next few weeks (I'm still waiting for them to be delivered).

So let me remind you that the event, for which I started the Project at the first place, is taking place at the end of the June! So I pretty much have four weeks to choose THE dress to match my Irregular Choice Neon Glitter Pumps AND accessorize the outfit AND take pictures for you to see!

With all that said, I present you the next dress that caught my eye and I love its design. The Kimono Dress!

The Kimono Dress by Weekday

So this dress comes from WEEKDAY

I actually found it in their store in Mariahilferstrasse. I visit the shop often so when I saw this dress - which was on sales!- I fell in love with its colors and the way it fits. I got size L and its good. I couuuuuuld size up but L is their bigger size. The purple glitter shocks that I wear in the first picture are also by WEEKDAY and they have them in many colors. I like the purple cause it is kinda binding the dress to the shoes. Let's point out that Stergios didn't like the lenght of the shocks, or the color contrast...something was off there for him anyway hahaha.

The Kimono Dress by Weekday & lime shocks by Monki

I was obsessed though with the idea of wearing this dress and shoes with shocks and I bought few different patterns to try. So apart the WEEKDAY purple shocks I also got these pairs by Monki. The animal print and the lime shocks where in promotion you get 3 pairs and you pay 2 so I also got some other designs for future use into other outfits. What do you think of the combination? (Btw, Stergios prefered the lime ones by far).

Ok I got the dress, I had the socks, and I needed the accessories! So let me tell you a little backstage story.

At first, I was looking for a specifiq hairpiece by Zara, the Rhinestone hair clip, but I couldn't find it in their shop and I didn't have the time to get it online and wait for it to arrive, so I had to go with a plan B, earrings.

I also found these Diamond Toucan earrings at Zara which I liked at the moment but they were kinda BIG and I thought that if I don't find something else I would probably get them, get my hair in a bun or something so you can see them etc.

So after wandering to the shops I got into Bijou Brigitte at Mariahilferstrasse, and I couldn't find a hairpiece similar to Zara's one buuut I found the earrings for the outfit.I have to say, I loooove these earrings. They have lots of variations and similar designs in their website,  Bijou Brigitte if you want to check it.

What I love about my earrings is how the sunlight goes through the colored material and reflects the colors on my skin. You can see that in the pictures, a great combination to the sunny day and the outfit!

My sun-flirty earrings by BijouBrigitte

Bottom line I love this dress. I am definatelly gonna wear it a lot. I bought this Play Net Dress by WEEKDAY, so I wear it underneath this kimono dress because whenever I sit in a chair my thighs sneak out to socialize with my friends 😛 . They have it in white as well, I got the black one. Unfortunatelly I couldn't find my dress in their online shop but I also like these ones, check them out if you are interested. The Layna Dress and the Pedal Dress .

Sooooo, feel free to tell me what you think! I have 3 more outfits for you and I would love to know your thoughts so far! You can always comment here below the post or on my Instagram page!

Thank you for being here with meeee! You could always push the small bell button to get a smaaaaaaaall notification message everytime a new post is online!

Helloooooo buns!! Welcome!

Today it's the day after the Easter Day here in Austria, which means Egg Hunting, lots of colored eggs, bunnies and Spring!

Now tell me, would there be any other moment more iiiiiideeeal than this for me to present the next dress??? I say NO! Sooooo the Dress Hunting *wink* brought me a Multicolored Pattern Dress *wink wink* ! From me to you all, myyyyy hunbunnies! *wink wink wink*

So this is another H&M Dress ( I know, I love H&M and sorry I'm not sorry 😛 ).

It's from their Studio Collection which in general has amazing pieces. Now you might ask what their Studio Collection is. Well according to their campaign "H&M Studio is a collection of seasonal key pieces created by our dedicated design team. This spring, we invite you to a dusty desert adventure where utility styles meet decadent luxe. It’s a thrilling combination of sunset-ready statement pieces and effortless, yet endlessly chic, wardrobe staples."

Now, as you might notice on the site, the price for this dress (149euro) is a bit higher than the ones we are used to see by H&M. But once you get the dress in your hands you can tell that the fabric's quality isn't cheap, the stitching is very well-made and the pattern is mesmerizing. It's made of crêped chiffon and its design is very unique!

And let me tell you, I really hunt this animal print dress down haha!

I first noticed this dress back in March, when H&M presented their S/S19 collection to Vienna's central shops. Let me tell you, it was love on the first sight for me. The pattern is AMAZING, the animal print's colors are sooooo unique and the dress's cut is what I love for my sillouette, airy and light!

Soooo I got online to check the available sizes but the Dress appeared SOLD OUT  in every different site I was logging in! I couldn't find it anywhere! I tried the german, the UK, the greek online store but noooo luck at all 🙁  Then I went to all the 6 H&M stores I know around here and I managed to find only one piece in a smaller size, I think 40. Yes, of course I tried it, and because it's airy it did fit but looked bad on me so I didn't buy it and I was saaaad, but almost setting my mind off of it.

And theeeeen, after a week or so, while scrolling down H&M's page I saw the dress! Available! On size EU46 (US14  UK18)! Yeah it's not my size (EU48, US16 UK20) but I HAD TO try it, the design looked so airy and there was a good chance it fitted well!

You can see on the pictures how it fits, its length is perfect for me and the assymetrical hem's cut makes it look so cool and breezy when you move, which is everything I wish for a summer day!

I really love the neckline, it's deep but there is a small button on the middle of it so you can either use it or leave it open and loose. There are two pairs of fabric strings around the neckline so you can either bow-tie them and the dress has a ruffled turtle-neck, or leave everything loose and feel sexy, breezy and all 😀 There are more of those fabric strings around the dress on such spots that you can actually adjust or alter dress's shape and design! Very cool if you ask me! Well done H&M's Design Team! <3 <3 <3

Now, you still need an underdress with this dress so I used this one I bought by H&M (in size XL), and I'm very happy with it.

Another fact is that this dress is such a statement piece by itself that you really don't need to wear earrings, necklaces or bracelets! I tried a thin leather braided belt on it but it didnt work for my body, or at least that's what I think 😛 But I really don't mind wearing just the dress and no accessories at all. Maybe a cocktail golden ring? And if you ask me I absolutely adore this dress's pattern and colors  matched to my Neon Pumps!

Actually, I need help with this one.

Me? I love the pattern and the design, and the feeling wearing this dress is veeery pleasant BUT NOW

a) my mom and b) Stergios aren't that excited about the way it fits.

a) My mom was excited when she saw this dress online (yeah the model looks amazing wearing it, I know) and she even wanted to pay for it, and she was looking  for it online non-stop just in case it pops on an H&M site. Now that she saw me wearing it she feels less enthousiastic hahaha. There is something that doesn't fit that good on me but she can't tell what.

b) Stergios at first was like "oh well"  and when he saw the price was more like "uhm are you 100% sure and excited that this is the one you like?" hahaha 😡

And here it's me now having second (and third and fourth and 149th) thoughts about it 😛

What do you think??? I'm actually sending SOS messages here 😛 Please let me know what you think (good or bad)  by leaving a comment bellow! Do you like it or do you think I should keep looking?

Helloooooo Buns! Welcome!

This week I have a Ruffled Dress by ASOS!

If you are not familiar with ASOS I will tell you what I know and what I've noticed so far about ASOS. It's not a sponsored post so it's just what I know and what I've experienced by trying out their clothes.

Basically ASOS has a variety of Designers to choose from but they also have their own designs labeled 'ASOS'. They also do great sales up to -70% occasionally which last long, and they have a CURVE Line as well as a TALL Line and a PETITE one. So they try hard to help any kind of bodytype to find the perfect garment. And they have a very realistic and respectful Return Policy, you buy- it doesn't fit- you send it back with no charges at all- you take a refund.I REALLY love and appreciate that because when you shop online you are never sure about sizing, especially when there is a variety of designers to choose from. So they have a very nice size guiding system where you can write down your measurements but you can also write down what size you are in different famous designers and they even ask more detailed questions for you to answer related to how your body looks like, bigger thighs, average bust, etc etc. You should definitely try it if you decide to shop with them.

So,I should order this dress in a size 48 (EU) but it wasn't available and I really wanted it so much so I thought to give it a try and buy the size 50 because I was feeling lucky...Well, I wasn't 😛 The dress is too loose and it is ruffled in that way that is not possible to alter it 🙁 . It's SUPER see-through and there is no undergarment coming with it so you need to buy your own. I like though how etherial the fabric is, it is sexy 😛 And of course because its back is open (I was really fond of it) you can forget your bra. I know that I said 'no backless dresses' but when I saw the model wearing it on the pictures, the back cut wasn't that deep as it actually was on me, reaching my waist. Soooooo unfortunatelly I can't use it for my Project. Also the dress was on sales and the price was great compared to the starting price.

So what I like on its pattern is that there are different yellowish hues of yellow and it was another version of the yellow total match concept. I also loooove the collar neck and its sleeves, so aetherial. I wasn't sure about how the ruffles would look on me (not Ruffles the chips, we all know how those look on my bum haha <3 ) but I thought 'heeey lets trust the designer behind this dress and give it a chance' and you know, because the fabric is so soft and light the ruffles actually helps your movement and the whole outfit looks cool and breezy. I reallly like this dress and I'm sad it didn't work for me snif snif.

I accessorized this one with pearls (unfortunatelly not real ones haha) and I kept the red lipstick + eyeliner on my make-up. Maybe with this dress a long pair of earrings would also be a match and I saw a couple of pairs in ZARA. Earrings no1 and Long Earrings no2  (I'm sorry I call them no1 & no2 but the models have no name) . And I found some amazing earrings in MANGO as well, you should check them out.

Soooo bottom line I'm kinda sad about this dress, I really wanted this to happen 😛  Aaaaaand I feel that after all this yellow I wore for the past 2 weeks it's time for me to experiment with some other colors as well...I NEED it hahaha...And another funny thing, I feel that if I keep on with my Project I will eventually be fed up of all the dresses and I will just want to wear sweatpants 😛 hmmmm sweatpants with my pumps? hmmmmm...

PS: I'm sorry mom, grandma, OCD friends of mine, steamers and ASOS that I didnt steam the dress, it was too delicate I got scared to 😛

Helloooooo Buns! Welcome!

I have a new dress! Yaaaaaay!

The Neon Pumps meets The Perfect Dress Project keeps going on and this time I wanted to try a 'ton sur ton' outfit. So, yellow it is!

This is another H&M dress! I bought it online in size 48 (I couldn't find it in a psysical shop). For some reason H&M, at least here in Vienna, seems to keep their bigger sizes just online. ANNOYING. Because I have to order the dress, wait like few days for it to arrive (their orders arrive very very fast though) and then in case it doesn't fit me I have to return it. Pretty much a week for me just to try a dress... Me don't like...Also this time I was a bit confused cause I never got a confirmation email which usually comes couple of minutes after you place the order (I ordered this one on a Friday evening) so I had to email them, try to reach them over their chat-window in their site -which you can use only if you speak German- and finally call them (the girl didn't speak english but was super nice) in order to get my answers. Phew...

Aaaaanyway...To the happy stuff now 😛 This Yellow Dress has buttons - yay,  pockets, and 3/4 length sleeves which are my most favorite sleeves ever 😛 . Also, its flared skirt's length is veeeery flattering.

BUT you definitely need a chemise, (I bought this one from H&M in the size XL, beige, and it fits great) because the dress is kinda see-through especially under the sun 🤣

The fabric is veeeery pleasant to touch, very airy and follows the body's movement. I really like its quality. The color is amazing, fresh, summerish and sunny! I love how it fits me, I like the elastic-band waist, I believe it looks nice on my waist. I would ADORE it even more if there weren't any pockets on the upper part for this specific event. It's ideal though for a casual outfit, I love it.

I accessorized this outfit with some pearls (they aren't real pearls, don't get excited 😛 ) and a red lipstick! I was looking for a statement necklace or huge pair of earrings in a yellow hue but unfortunately I couldn't find anything while I was walking around today.

Backstage:

This week I tried couple of faaaaaancy dresses in C&A and I would say that I kinda like the green one, what do you think?? I sized down  and it looked way better on the upper part 🙂 I'm still bit concerned though of the tattoo+priest situation if I go bare- arms 😛 .

*Thank you Lady Butterfly for taking the picture for me!

This was my Yellow Dress! Next week another one is coming and let's see how it goes 😀

How I match my Irregular Choice shoes to an MONKI Button-up Shirt dress!

Helloooooo buns! Welcome!

This was an intense week, but here I am with a new dress! (and more...)

Today we have the all-time classic, simple, boxy, Button-up Dress! This one is by Monki which I looooove!

This dress is available in so many different colors but for my Neon Yellow Pumps I wanted this pale lavender hue (in their campaign they even match it to neon nail enamel). I got this dress in size XL and let me tell you few things about it. I bought the exact same dress months ago in black and I wore it SO much! I am so happy about this dress cause mainly I could do so much layering with it.Cosy chunky knitwear, sleek pants, oversized sweatshirts.  And of course when I saw online this new color I thought "Oh that's my favorite dress, it should be the perfect match!"

So I bought it and here I am trying it. The thing is that is very common the same fabric to look different in different colors, and what I mean by that is this dress being kinda see-through, you definately need an undergarment to wear it in a sunny day. Also I feel that for my body type, XL is ok only when I layer it with another piece above. The fitting just wearing it solo was not ideal for me, I could happily size-up. But overall I love the length, the color, the material.

While trying to accessorize the outfit I went into UrbanOutfitters to find a specific yellow belt that I saw there few weeks ago (I should have bought it back then cause it was sold out by now but they still have it online) BUT I came across to this amazing pair of Heart-shaped Sunglasses and to be honest lately I was flirting a lot online with similar sunglasses. Soooo I thought "Heeeey let's try a different approach". I grabbed my new hearts and now I had to find one more piece to complete the outfit.

I was thinking of earrings or a huge piece of statement necklace and I went into BIKBOK. There I found my Glooooooorious Headband <3 <3 <3 Unfortunatelly I couldn't find it online for you but they had more of them at the store at MariahilferStrasse. This headband is maximal and has gems and the color was perfect for the outfit and I believe it styled the whole outfit together.

The coat I'm wearing I bought it a couple of years ago by H&M.

Backstage:

This week I also went to ZARA cause I saw online few new entries and I wanted to try them on.

I found this white dress in size XL but either I need XXL oooor I could stop eating for the next few months till the baptism 😛

And I also found this skirt that I liked its color and I grabbed a lingerie top and a light fabric green hued shirt to pair it with. But nothing fitted so I'm showing you the pictures just for fun 🙂 You can find them online here skirt, shirt .

Sooooo, this is pretty much what happened this week. I have already ordered my next dresses and hopefully they'll be here next week 😛

I would appreciate your opinion and let me know what you think of the dresses so far!

Also if you've accidentally found a dress for me please let me know 😛

Helloooooo buns! Welcome!

Today I'm gonna show you the first dress that caught my eye. Yay! This is a wrap dress from H&M.

before the photoshoot 😛

When I saw this  casual wrap-front dress having this simple pattern, simple geometry I believed it will support the Neon Pumps ideally and 'cool down' the 'irregularity' of these shoes. I love wrapped dresses and the Sleepwear Street Fashion and  I also like this color combination, sky blue and neon yellow, it looks fresh to my eyes. Also I imagined this outfit accessorized with some neon jewelries or some fabric decorations which I could sew on the dress (I'm not sure about that yet)  and give a hint of neon yellow details so there is some connection to the shoes.Sooooo now that I have the dress in my hands I have to admit, the dress fitting on me is okish (my size for this one is 50), the front cut is quite airy (sometimes I had to check if I'm flashing people around) and even if this dress feels reaaally comfortable, its fitting was altered while I was moving. Also I've noticed that the fabric wrinkles very easily and I don't think I want that for a special day.

If you are interested in appliques you can find so many online:

(that's just a small amount I found when I was looking for Neon appliques)

Also I think that in case Ι go with this dress I will definately need to accessorize it. While I was searching for accessories I saw these handmade statement jewelries. I love DIY and handmade pieces and I appreciate  creativity.I like those:

Also, while trying to find the dress I visited ZALANDO and I spent some time (a lot) there  looking around, and I found these jewelries which I keep in mind for the final outfit.

Take a look on the links below :

Weeeeell...While looking at the pictures,I wonder which color would match those shoes. As you can see on the pictures the shoes shine like the sun in a trans parallel universe.Maybe the dress should be also in neon color? Or white? Something blinding as well? If you have any ideas please leave your comments below. I'm open to any suggestions! So, bottom line, I'm not sure if this wrap-front dress will be the one, but I will definately wear it casualy,it's ideal for a spring day!
